S.S. Honour Ring.

S.S. Honour Ring in silver plated finish.

Sometimes, incorrectly, called the 'Wedding Ring'. Given by Heinrich Himmler as an award to S.S. Officers. Complete with engraved Himmler signature on the inside of the shank and proof mark. An inexpensive copy in silver plated metal.

There were many attractive official and unofficial rings worn by German military and political personnel during the Third Reich period. Many were manufactured and worn un-officially as marks of honour or even as unofficial decorations commemorating events or service.
